As part of a recent exchange between Ukraine and Russia, Drohobych resident Volodymyr Lohinskyi is returning home among almost two hundred freed Ukrainian soldiers. Born on July 20, 1974, he defended the country during the full-scale enemy aggression. He served as a medic in the second mechanized platoon of the second mechanized company of the 107th mechanized battalion, A3719 (A0296).
He was captured on June 21, 2023, during a combat mission near Dibrova, Severodonetsk district, Luhansk region. Waiting for him at home are his wife, daughter, and son.
