The second anniversary is marked of the day when, near Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia, Volodymyr Herych — a volunteer and unmanned aviation systems operator — fought his last battle. He consciously chose the path of a defender and went to protect Ukraine with a weapon in his hands.
According to available information, on 16 October 2024 Volodymyr fulfilled his military duty to the end, remaining faithful to the Oath and to Ukraine. He will forever be 22 years old.
On the anniversary, his comrades-in-arms and all who care remember the fallen warrior and stress the importance of remembering the price he paid for the country’s freedom, and of doing everything possible every day so that his sacrifice is not in vain.
