6 October marks the second anniversary of the death of soldier Rostyslav Furdas, our fellow countryman who gave his life for Ukraine while carrying out a combat mission.
During this mission, the soldier stopped making contact and for a long time was considered missing in action. It was later officially confirmed that Rostyslav had been killed.
He consciously chose to defend Ukraine and remained faithful to the military oath until his last breath. With his life, Rostyslav paid for the independence, territorial integrity and peaceful future of his native land.
The community gratefully remembers the fallen soldier and emphasises the extremely high price Ukrainians are paying for freedom. Eternal honour and glory to the defender.
