
Two servicemen from the Lviv region who had been held in Russian captivity have finally returned home.
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, shared the news.
Roman Levko, a native of Velyki Mosty, was captured in August 2023 during a combat mission near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
The second soldier, Andriy Biskup from Lviv, had been in enemy captivity since December 2022.
“Roman, Andriy, thank you for your courage and commitment to our country. I wish you strong health and a speedy recovery,” said the regional head.
