Two defenders from the Sheptytskyi district were awarded the Orders of Courage, 3rd degree. Unfortunately, posthumously.
Oleksandr Buzunar was a private gunner in an airborne assault unit. He died in March this year during a combat mission near the village of Oleshna in the Kursk region.
Mykola Kret served as a private grenadier in an airmobile unit. He died in September 2024 near the village of Bohoyavlenka in the Donetsk region.
The awards were presented to the families of our Heroes. Eternal memory and glory to the fallen Defenders. Sincere condolences to their families.
