The Horodok community received on shields and accompanied on his final journey Roman Huk from the village of Dobriany. The defender of Ukraine had long been considered missing in action, but now it has become possible to pay proper tribute to his memory.
The coffin with the soldier’s body was first received in prayer in the central square of Horodok, where community residents bowed their heads in mourning and gratitude. After this, the farewell continued in his native Dobriany, where fellow villagers accompanied Roman Huk on his final earthly journey.
On Horodok soil, another place of remembrance has appeared for a fallen defender who gave his life for Ukraine’s future. The community emphasises its eternal respect and gratitude to their compatriot and warrior.
