On Monday, 23rd March, Hero Andriy Burko returns to his native community of Sheptytskyi. The solemn cortege is expected to arrive at approximately 12:30, as reported by the Sheptytskyi City Council.
Following the Hero’s arrival, a Requiem Mass and funeral service will commence at 13:00 at St. Josaphat’s Church. The Warrior will be laid to rest in the Avenue of Heroes at Bendyuzy Cemetery. We ask the community to meet our Hero and honourably accompany him on his final journey, as he gave the most precious thing – his own life for our independence and for each of us.
