The Horodok Territorial Community mourns the loss of two courageous defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine.
🕯️ Mariyan Bohdanovych Debera (born on March 12, 1983), a native of Horodok, was killed on September 4, 2024, in the Kursk region while defending Ukraine’s independence.
He was born, raised, and educated in Horodok, where his roots lie. Mariyan will be laid to rest at the town’s central cemetery.
Sincere condolences go out to his wife, daughter, parents, sisters, relatives, and friends.
🕯️ Andriy Yaroslavovych Kolodiy (born on September 13, 1989), a resident of Kernytsia village, passed away on September 15, 2025, while undergoing medical treatment.
He served as a sapper and was called to military duty in April 2024. After recovering from a previous injury, he returned to service but later died due to health complications.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, parents, and sister. Heartfelt sympathies are extended to his family.
The dates and times for the farewell ceremonies in Horodok will be announced separately.
