On 5 May 2026, near the village of Novoyakovlivka, Zaporizhzhia district, Zaporizhzhia region, while on military duty at an observation post, a soldier from the village of Dobrohostiv, Ihor Bilyk, died.
Bilyk Ihor Petrovych was born on 17 September 1971. He was called up for military service on 28 September 2024. He served with the rank of senior sergeant as a senior rifleman-flamethrower in the motorised infantry battalion of military unit A4955.
The arrival of the body of the fallen defender, Ihor Bilyk, is scheduled for Monday, 25 May, at 13:00 at the Heroes’ Crossroads, after which the funeral cortege will proceed to the village of Dobrohostiv.
