
Andrii Dryl, a second-category border guard inspector, died in the line of duty in the village of Prykolotne in Kharkiv region.
He was born and lived in the village of Pukenychi in the Stryi community. He studied at Lysiatychi Secondary School and later at the Drohobych Oil and Gas College. After completing his education, he worked at the industrial department “Lvivhazvydobuvannia”.
In May 2024, Andrii Dryl was called up for military service. As a border guard inspector, he took part in the defence of Ukraine’s territorial integrity. During his service, he sustained injuries, underwent rehabilitation and returned to his duties.
Despite the efforts of the medics, the serviceman could not be saved — he died while carrying out his duties in Kharkiv region.
