Stories from the front: returned from abroad to defend Ukraine in the ranks of the 103rd Brigade of the TRO

“Tabor”, a driver of the automobile company of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade, told his story.

Before the full-scale war, the soldier with the call sign “Tabor” worked as a construction worker. For more than 7 years he was engaged in the construction of Epicenter shopping centers. For some time he worked in the Czech Republic.

The man received the news of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine while abroad. As soon as he had the opportunity to return home, the man stood up to defend his country.

“I have a mother, sister, and five nephews here. I could not allow someone to invade our land and abuse them. I had to protect them. We also have very beautiful girls. I didn’t want them to live in fear. Victory is not a joy. Of course, I wanted it to happen as soon as possible. To say, “Guys, hand over your weapons and armor, it’s over”. So that we could just return to our families and that’s it,” the soldier says.

The defender admits that after the long-awaited victory, he and his comrades want to return to a society that understands their emotional state and responds adequately to physical changes.

“Those guys who have been through all this, who have been wounded or contused, will react differently to everything. Therefore, it is very important for society to realize this,” adds Tabor.
