Sad news has shaken the community of the town of Turka. Until the last moment, there was hope that Ivan Kuzmin was alive, but on 25 March 2026, his body was identified. In the war against Russian occupiers, while carrying out a combat mission, a resident of Turka, a scout of the reconnaissance section of the reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company of military unit A2298 (A4878), soldier Ivan Kuzmin, was killed.
