Ivan Sas Posthumously Received the Order ‘For Courage’ III Class
By decree of the President of Ukraine, our compatriot, a native of the village of Malnivska Volya — Ivan Sas — was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” III class for personal bravery shown in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

From the first days of the full-scale war, he left his job abroad and returned home to defend his native land. Without hesitation, without fear — with great love for Ukraine.
The Last Battle
The life of the Hero ended on August 15, 2024, in heavy battles in the Kursk region. He is buried in the city of Novoyavorivsk.
