The pain of loss has once again enveloped our community. Ivan Slotsky from the village of Zarychchia died on 18 March 2026, defending Ukraine from Russian occupiers. Born on 11 January 1998, Ivan served in military unit A0770, dutifully fulfilling his obligations until the very last moment.
Condolences to the family, friends, and everyone who knew Ivan. The radiant and eternal memory of the Hero will always live on in the hearts of our community. The farewell ceremony will take place on 30 March. At 10:30–10:45, we will meet the funeral cortege, which will follow the route from Berehove to Zarychchia.
We ask you to honour the Hero, who gave his life for the freedom and independence of our country. Eternal memory and respect to the Hero! Sincere condolences to all relatives and loved ones.
