With indescribable sorrow and pain, the community of Velyki Mosty today escorted their Defender, Ivan Yurochko, on his final earthly journey. Family, friends, comrades, clergy, and concerned residents gathered to say farewell to the Hero.
The mourning ceremony took place in his native village, where Ivan grew up, studied, and worked. Prayers for his soul echoed through the familiar streets. The Defender was buried with military honours, accompanied by a military band and the sounds of a mournful march.
The Ukrainian National Guard, where Ivan served, paid their last respects to their comrade. Nearby were his fellow soldiers who accompanied the Hero to his place of eternal rest.
His family endured the hardest part. His beloved wife bade farewell to her husband, while their three little children could not comprehend the loss. Parents, a brother and sisters, with tears in their eyes, said goodbye to their dearest. Ivan leaves behind an example of resilience and patriotism for everyone.
