In Stryi region, in the village of Holobutiv, a significant event took place: a memorial plaque was unveiled in honour of the fallen soldier, Ivan Tymchyshyn. This tribute took place near the local gymnasium, on the facade of which the commemorative marker was installed.
Ivan, a native of Holobutiv, was a rifleman and a member of the service crew of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. Sadly, he was killed on 26 April 2025 during a combat mission near the settlement of Novoukrainka in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. He was only 46 years old at the time of his death.
