
Captain-Lieutenant Mykola Khudevych from the village of Tukhlya in the Slavske community has been posthumously honoured with a state award — the Order “For Courage” III Class. The corresponding decision was made by Decree of the President of Ukraine.
Mykola Khudevych served in the 73rd Naval Special Operations Centre named after Koshovyi Otaman Antin Holovaty. At first, he was an instructor for new recruits, and later he joined in carrying out combat missions directly on the front line.
In the unit, the defender held the position of group commander of Team of the 2nd Detachment. He was killed on 10 June 2025 while performing a combat mission in the Sumy region. At the time of his death, the soldier was 45 years old.
