During the night of August 21, Lviv and the surrounding region came under a massive combined air attack involving Shahed-type kamikaze drones and cruise missiles. According to preliminary reports, one person was killed and two others were injured.
This was confirmed by Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

The worst-hit area was Oleny Stepanivny Street, which also suffered a missile strike just a month ago.

There are also reports of fires breaking out in other parts of the city, which emergency crews are currently investigating.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi stated that an emergency commission meeting is being prepared. Rescue workers, police, medical teams, and utility services are actively working on-site.
