On 10 August, the Kulykiv community of Lviv district will receive on the shield the fallen defender Petro Tohan, a native of the village of Mervychi (Wiesenberg). This was reported by the Kulykiv settlement council.
The Hero will be received in his native village of Mervychi (Wiesenberg) at 12:00. A memorial service will first be held at his parents’ home on Molodizhna Street.
After the prayer, the funeral procession will proceed to the Church of the Archstrategos Michael, where the burial service will be conducted. Petro Tohan will be laid to rest in the local cemetery.
Residents of the Kulykiv community are urged to come to meet the fallen warrior, accompany him on his final journey and pay tribute to the defender who gave his life for Ukraine.
