The Lopatyn settlement territorial community has reported the death of serviceman Hryhorii Muryн, a resident of the village of Berezivka. The defender of Ukraine was killed on 5 July 2025 while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Andriivka in Sumy region.
According to available information, the soldier was considered missing in action until 7 July 2026. Later, DNA test results confirmed his death.
The cortege with the body of the fallen warrior is to be met on 16 July 2026 at 10:30 in the town of Radekhiv. Residents of the town are asked to come to the Heavenly Hundred stele and along Tarnavskoho Street to the Church of St Nicholas to form a guard of honour and pay tribute to the defender as he is accompanied on his final journey.
