The Lopatin community deeply mourns for their fellow countryman, who gave his life for Ukraine.
On March 30, 2024, while fulfilling his military duty in the Zaporizhzhia region, Roman Ihorovych Bereziuk, a resident of the village of Kulykiv, was killed. Until recently, he was considered missing, but a DNA test confirmed his death.
The cortege with the body of the fallen soldier will be met on February 16, 2026, at 12:00. Residents of Radekhiv are requested to come to the Heavenly Hundred Stele and along Tarnavsky Street to St. Nicholas Church to create a living corridor to honor the hero’s memory.
