Lviv provides military brigades with equipment worth UAH 7.2 million

Nine military units have received from Lviv another batch of equipment for frontline needs totalling UAH 7.2 million. This was reported by Lviv City Council.

The delivery took place on 29 May as part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative. On behalf of the community, a vehicle, drones, satellite communication systems, charging stations and laptops were sent to units fighting on the front line.

Various units received assistance: mechanised and assault troops, border guards, marines, National Guard soldiers, electronic warfare units and a training centre. For them, a vehicle, 31 Matrice 4T drones, 5 Starlink kits, 6 EcoFlow charging stations and 5 laptops were purchased.

“Every Friday the Lviv community sends aid to the military. This is what is needed at the front right now. This time, support for 9 units worth over 7 million hryvnias. And every week it is the same — new assistance for the Armed Forces,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

The City Council reminds that last week the military had already received equipment and devices worth UAH 16 million. The purchases are funded by taxpayers of the Lviv community under the citywide programme to support the Armed Forces.

More than UAH 1 billion has been earmarked for this programme in 2026. Last year, the total amount of such support from the Lviv community reached UAH 1 billion 115 million.
