Lviv has delivered another batch of equipment for military units worth almost UAH 7.8 million in total. The assistance was provided by the community as part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative.
According to Lviv City Council, today, 5 June, vehicles, quadcopters, charging stations, tablets and rechargeable batteries for drones were sent to the front line. Four military units received the assistance.
In the courtyard of City Hall, the equipment being handed over to the army was displayed: in front of the building there are four white pick-up trucks, and next to them equipment in boxes and special cases, including quadcopters, charging stations and other electronics. Service personnel are by the equipment, inspecting the property they have received.
The following was delivered to different units:
- 4 vehicles (as part of the “125 vehicles for the 125th Brigade” initiative);
- 2 Autel 4T quadcopters and 10 rechargeable batteries for drones;
- 3 EcoFlow charging stations;
- 5 tablets;
- 5 multifunction office devices.
First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko noted that the assistance for the four military units was purchased with funds from the Lviv community, and expressed his gratitude to the Armed Forces for their service and protection.
City Hall stresses that equipment and devices for the soldiers are regularly purchased with taxpayers’ money from the Lviv community under the citywide programme to support the Armed Forces. This year, the programme has been allocated more than UAH 1 billion, while last year the total amount of such support from the Lviv community was UAH 1 billion 115 million.
