The Lviv city council has purchased new aid for Ukrainian defenders as part of the ‘Lion’s Revenge’ initiative, amounting to over 8.9 million UAH.
Quad bikes, cars, and a bus were donated to five military units. ‘The cost of today’s transfer to our defenders amounts to 8.9 million UAH. Everything was purchased with city community funds as part of the city-wide program to support the Armed Forces,’ stated the first deputy mayor of Lviv, Andriy Moskalenko.
It is worth recalling that in 2025, the Lviv community provided support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) totaling 1 billion 115 million UAH. Another billion UAH is planned to be allocated in 2026.
Additionally, the Lviv community is participating in the largest defense fundraiser in Ukraine’s history, the ‘Unified Collection’. The city will allocate 50 million UAH for anti-shahed interceptor drones and equipment for the efficient operation of brigade operators’ crews.
