As part of the ‘Lion’s Revenge’ initiative, the Lviv community has donated equipment and devices to military units totalling nearly UAH 3.1 million. This aid was made possible thanks to the support of the Lviv city council.
On 17 April, three military units received substantial support in the form of two vehicles (crossover SUVs), 150 chargers with batteries, 30 batteries, 10 control transmitters, 5 video receivers, as well as monitors, tripods, shockproof cases and an interactive panel.
The city council assures that the equipment is purchased with taxpayers’ money from Lviv under the Armed Forces support programme. This year, over UAH 1 billion is allocated for this programme, and last year UAH 1 billion 115 million was provided.
