Every day at 9:00 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those who gave their lives for Ukraine due to Russian aggression with a moment of silence. Today, Lviv Region bids farewell to Vasyl Bodnar.
🕯 Vasyl Bodnar – a resident of the village of Zavodske in the Zolochiv District. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Vasyl served as a driver in the fire support company of the 64th Battalion.
While carrying out a combat mission in the Kursk region (Russia), he sustained severe injuries. Despite the efforts of doctors, on December 12, 2024, Vasyl Bodnar passed away at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region. The defender was 56 years old.
