Every day at 9:00 AM, Ukrainians observe a moment of silence to honor the memory of those who have perished due to Russian aggression. Today, the Lviv region mourns its defender, Taras Sabadash.
Taras Sabadash, a resident of Lviv, began his service to Ukraine in 2015 as part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He served with the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of Galicia, carrying out combat missions from the first days of the full-scale invasion.
The Hero defended Ukraine on the frontlines in some of the most intense hotspots: Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and during the Kharkiv counteroffensive operation. His bravery and dedication were recognized with numerous honors, including the Order of Courage, 3rd Class.
Tragically, the warrior’s life was cut short on December 31. He was 48 years old.
Eternal glory to the Hero who gave his life for Ukraine’s freedom! 🙏🏻
