Lviv region mourns three fallen soldiers who died in Donetsk region

Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine observes a national minute of silence to honor those who died defending the country from Russian aggression. Wherever you are, pause and remember our fallen heroes.

Today, the Lviv region bids farewell to three defenders who gave their lives on the front lines:


🔹 Mykhailo Malesh, 38 years old
Resident of Batkiv village, Zolochiv district.
He was conscripted into the Armed Forces on August 5, 2025, and served as a grenade launcher unit commander in the fire support platoon of military unit A2582.
He was killed on October 23, 2025, near the village of Zatyshok in Donetsk region.


🔹 Nazar Kut
A native of Lviv.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He served in combat missions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions with the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky.
He died on November 1, 2025.


🔹 Volodymyr Namyak
Originally from Sambir.
Served as a rifleman-medic in the 3rd motorized infantry squad of the 2nd platoon, 3rd company of the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
He lost his life on August 9, 2024, near the village of Zalizne in Donetsk region.


Today, the Lviv region is in mourning. Eternal glory and memory to the Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine. Our sincere condolences to their families.
