In 2025, Lviv Region allocated 729 million UAH to support the Defense Forces.
Last year, as part of the ‘Safe Lviv Region’ program, more than 729 million UAH was directed from the regional budget to support Ukrainian defenders. This was reported by the First Deputy Head of Lviv Regional State Administration, Andriy Hodyk.
With these funds, over 6,000 drones were purchased, including reconnaissance ‘Mavics’ and ‘Matrices’, FPV-drones, heavy bombers ‘Vampire’, and interceptor drones. Additionally, more than 260 units of electronic warfare equipment, thermal imagers, scopes, projectors, and equipment for mobile fire groups were acquired.
Moreover, 63 units of equipment were purchased, including pickups, trucks, excavators for fortifications, and mobile workshops. Over 500 communication devices were acquired, such as Motorola radios, vehicle radios, body cameras, and network equipment.
‘Lviv Region has been and remains a reliable rear for our Defenders. We purchase exactly what the brigades request. We will continue to direct resources where they are most needed — to the front, for Ukraine’s victory’, stated Acting Head of Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Kholod.
