In the Lviv region on Saturday, 24 October, the funeral took place of serviceman Ihor Hvozd, who was killed while defending Ukraine. The defender was laid to rest in his native land.
Ihor Hvozd was a resident of the village of Pykulovychi in the Novoiarychiv community of Lviv district. Since 2024, the soldier had been considered missing in action.
It is reported that the fighter was killed on 11 April 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.
The community extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the fallen warrior and thanks him for his devoted service to Ukraine.
