In the Lviv region they are bidding farewell to defender Oleh Yurchenko, who lived in the town of Sosnivka in the Sheptytskyi district. He served as a radio-telephone operator in the communications platoon of a mechanised battalion of military unit A4447.
For almost three years the serviceman was considered missing in action. It was later established that he was killed on 31 December 2023 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region. At the time of his death, Oleh Yurchenko was 35 years old.
Eternal memory to the fallen warrior and condolences to his family and comrades-in-arms.
