The Lviv City Council, on behalf of the community, has delivered another batch of equipment and devices for the front as part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative. Seven military units received assistance totalling UAH 4.9 million.
This time, the military were supplied with a vehicle, 12 Matrice 4T quadcopters, 30 rechargeable batteries, 5 charging stations, 3 generators, 3 accumulators, as well as 3 laptops and 8 tablets. The equipment, packed in protective cases, is ready for use on the front line.
The equipment was provided to mechanised and assault units, territorial defence forces, artillery, special operations forces units and army aviation.
“Today we are handing over another batch of equipment and devices to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This has been purchased with funds from the Lviv community, that is, taxpayers’ money. We are handing it over to seven military units for a total of UAH 4.9 million. We will continue our work to provide the units with everything they need most,” said Andriy Moskalenko.
The City Council notes that the procurement of equipment for the military using taxpayers’ money from the Lviv community is carried out on an ongoing basis under the citywide programme to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Such handovers are organised every week.
According to the City Hall, last year more than UAH 1.1 billion was allocated from the city budget to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From January to August 2026, more than UAH 850 million has already been allocated for these needs, and over UAH 1 billion has been earmarked for the year as a whole.
