Lviv community supplies military with equipment worth UAH 5.7 million

In Lviv, as part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative, the community has delivered another batch of technical assistance for Ukraine’s defenders. Five military units received equipment worth a total of UAH 5,733,000, purchased with taxpayers’ money from the Lviv community.

According to Lviv City Council, quadcopters, generators, Starlink satellite communication kits, charging stations, navigation and radio modules, control panels and other equipment have been sent to the front line. All items were delivered in their original packaging.

This time, the defenders received in particular:

  • 10 Matrice 4T quadcopters;
  • 20 navigation modules;
  • 30 Motorola radios;
  • 20 control panels;
  • 320 payload housings;
  • 25 soldering stations;
  • 2 radio modules;
  • 13 transmitters;
  • 10 generators;
  • 15 Starlink kits;
  • 10 charging stations.

The batch of equipment has been directed to a border guard detachment, mechanised brigades and assault units.

The City Council notes that the procurement of equipment for the military is carried out on an ongoing basis under the city-wide programme to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and similar handovers take place every week.

Last year, more than UAH 1.1 billion was allocated from the city budget to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From January to August 2026, more than UAH 850 million has already been allocated from the Lviv community budget to support the military, and more than UAH 1 billion is planned for the entire year.

In addition, more than UAH 105 million has recently been allocated from the community budget for additional security and defence measures.
