The Lviv community has delivered a batch of equipment and apparatus to 9 military units as part of the ‘Lion’s Revenge’ initiative. The event took place on 15th May 2026. Equipment worth over 3.9 million hryvnias will assist Ukrainian defenders in their combat missions on the front line.
Items handed over included Starlinks, generators, charging stations, batteries, laptops, and a Matrice 4T quadcopter. Taras Makhnitsky, commander of an airspace coverage platoon of the 45th Operational Brigade, stated that the charging stations are vital equipment for maintaining communications and lights.
This week, the Lviv City Council also provided equipment to the military worth over 20 million hryvnias. According to officials, a Toyota Hilux was purchased for 1.5 million UAH and a UAV for 15 million UAH. A training complex and other equipment were delivered for the ‘Khartia’ Brigade.
We remind you that Lviv consistently supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine in line with the city support programme. In 2025, the city allocated more than 1.1 billion hryvnias to support the defence forces.
