On 13 October, the Mostyska community will welcome home Ukraine’s fallen defender Maksym Bondarenko. Residents of the localities are asked to come out to the roadside and form a live guard of honour as the funeral cortege passes.
The cortege with the serviceman’s body will follow the route: the village of Berehove – the village of Tvirzha – the village of Hostyntseve – the town of Mostyska (the Church of the Protection of the Holy Virgin) – the village of Krysovychi – the village of Nahirne – the village of Bukhovychi – the village of Pnikut.
The cortege is expected to arrive in Mostyska between 12:30 and 12:45. Residents of the community are urged to join the gathering and pay tribute to the memory of the soldier.
The community extends its condolences to the family and friends of Maksym Bondarenko and underlines the importance of giving the defender a dignified farewell on his final journey.
