In the Mostyska community a farewell ceremony was held for Maksym Bondarenko, a resident of the village of Pnikut, who was killed defending Ukraine. The defender was received “on the shield” and accompanied on his final journey by fellow villagers, compatriots and comrades-in-arms.
The community notes that Maksym gave his life for Ukraine’s freedom and the right to live on his native land, and that his feat will forever remain in people’s memory. They stress that behind every fallen warrior there is a whole world — relatives who waited for them, dreams that never came true, and a life cut short too soon.
On behalf of the entire Mostyska community, Maksym’s family, loved ones, friends and comrades-in-arms were offered sincere condolences and support at this time of irreparable loss, with wishes that they find the strength to live through this grief.
