On 26 May, the Mostyska community will receive the fallen defender of Ukraine Ivan Karpiak, born in 1988, a resident of the village of Arlamivska Volia.
According to the community, the serviceman was killed on 19 May 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Arkhanhelske in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region.
The arrival of the coffin with the defender’s body is expected to take place approximately between 13:00 and 13:30.
The cortege will follow the route:
- village of Berehove;
- village of Tvirzha;
- village of Arlamivska Volia.
Residents of the Mostyska community are asked to join in paying their respects to Ivan Karpiak and to accompany him on his final journey in a living corridor of honour and remembrance.
