Today, scaffolding was dismantled at the building of Sports School No. 1, unveiling a mural created by artist Vasyl Remarchuk in memory of all Heroes.
The idea of creating the mural came from a joint initiative by the mother of Hero Mykola Klontsak, coach of Sports School No. 1 Halyna Shevchuk, and public activist Svitlana Rostun.
“The mural depicts the Heroes, alumni of Sports School No. 1 Mykola Klontsak and Andriy Horban. But this work is for every Defender, it is an expression of gratitude and respect for all the Warriors who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine,” stated Vasyl Remarchuk.
The unveiling of the mural is scheduled for October 14, according to the director of the sports school Vasyl Ustenko.
