
On 1st May in Drohobych, there will be a reburial of Mykhailo Alekseyenko, a Hero who died defending Ukraine. From his youth, he held an active civic position, engaged in volunteer activities, and participated in many social changes, including the Revolution of Dignity.
Mykhailo Alekseyenko, a native of Sloviansk, died on 15th April 2023 during combat operations in Luhansk region. After his death, he was honoured with honorary titles and awards such as the Order of Courage and the “Defender of the Fatherland” medal.
The military burial will take place at the cemetery on Pylypa Orlyka Street in Drohobych. Mykhailo will be laid to rest next to his mother. A citywide farewell will begin at 11:30 on Rynok Square.
