Mykhailo Hushchyn, a junior sergeant from Volosyanka, sacrificed his life while carrying out a combat mission, defending Ukraine. He was killed on 2nd April 2026 in the area of Samiilivka in the Donetsk region.
Mykhailo was born on 2nd October 1998. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, he tirelessly defended his homeland as a squad leader in the marine infantry unit A3821.
The Hero’s life was cut short prematurely, leaving condolences to family and friends. The entire community is in mourning, and information regarding the Hero’s commemoration will be announced later.
