With deep sorrow, we announce that Mykola Tanchenko, a resident of Sosnivka, has passed away. He defended Ukraine in the ATO/OOS zone in 2015, and with the onset of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered for the front. As a platoon commander of the 60th Separate Mechanised Brigade, he endured the toughest battles.
In 2025, near Bakhmut, he sustained a severe injury. Unfortunately, after a prolonged fight for his life, the warrior’s heart could not endure. Farewell to the Hero will take place tomorrow, 11 April, at 11:00 at the Church of St. Peter and Paul, where the Requiem Liturgy and funeral service will commence. The burial will take place at the Alley of Heroes in Sosnivka Cemetery.
