It has been three years since the death of soldier Andrii Andriichak, who gave his life defending Ukraine. He served as a machine gunner in the 4th Separate Rifle Battalion and remained faithful to his military oath until the end.
Andrii Andriichak was born on 18 April 1991 in the village of Pshonets. During the full-scale war, he stood up to defend the state in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The defender’s life was cut short on 26 June 2023 near the settlement of Khromove in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. Three years have passed since then, yet the pain of loss for his family, friends, comrades-in-arms and the entire community remains acute.
The memory of Andrii Andriichak lives on as that of a courageous warrior who fulfilled his duty to Ukraine until his last breath.
