On May 27, 2025, around 9 a.m., at a firing position in the area of the settlement of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, the heart of our Defender suddenly stopped — soldier Ivan Hryhorovych Naganchuk, born in 1978, driver of the second self-propelled artillery division of military unit A0998.
Despite all the efforts of comrades and the conducted resuscitation measures, Ivan could not be saved. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the Defender stood to protect Ukraine. Since 2022, he bravely served on the front lines, diligently executing combat missions, demonstrating loyalty to the oath, and an unbreakable spirit. His military service was an example of honor, self-sacrifice, and true patriotism.
Behind Ivan — years of fighting for the freedom and independence of his native land. In peaceful life, he was a loving husband, caring father, sincere and kind person. He is survived by his wife, two children, sisters, and brother.
