Our defender, Maksym Dranitskyi, is returning to his native land on a shield.
The hero was killed on 7 February 2024 near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. Maksym was 23 years old.

Dranytskyi Maksym Bohdanovych was born on 14 August 2000 in Novoyavorivsk, studied at Novoyavoriv secondary school №3, and finished grades 10-11 at Shklyvsk secondary school named after Marian Korchak. He graduated from Lviv State University of Internal Affairs with a degree in Law. He worked at the Lviv District Police Department as an investigator. In early January 2024, he went to the Donetsk region to defend Ukraine.
Maksym was calm, read a lot, loved sports, especially football.
Maksym is survived by his father Bohdan, mother Iryna, brother Roman, sister Diana and girlfriend Vitaliia.

❗️Молитовна The meeting for the Hero will be held today, 9 February, at 15:00 at 2 Shevchenko Street (opposite the City Council building).
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 10 February, at the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Novoyavorivsk at 15:00.
The Hero will be buried at the local cemetery in Novoyavorivsk.
