The Yavoriv City Council was saddened to hear about the death of Mykola Poradivskyi at the front.

Mykola was born in the village of Teterivka, Cherkasy region. He grew up there, received his education, and later received a degree in mechanics at the Zhashkiv School.

At the age of eighteen, he joined the army and signed a contract to serve in the city of Rava-Ruska.

In 1997, he started a family with his beloved wife, settled in Seredkevychi, and later became a loving father to his daughter Victoria.

He was kind-hearted, hardworking, and sociable. Mykola Ivanovych was a responsible person who was not afraid of difficulties. Therefore, when the great war broke out, he first joined the ranks of a volunteer unit, and in January 2024, he took up arms and went to defend Ukraine as part of the 104th terrorist defense brigade.

Having courageously fulfilled his military duty, he was killed on the battlefield on April 20 near Ocheretyne in Donetsk region.

We express our sincere condolences to the family, friends, fellow villagers and comrades-in-arms of the Hero! We bow our heads to his immortal feat!

The motorcade will meet this Wednesday. The exact time and place will be announced later.

May he rest in eternal memory!
