Another Hero from Stryi returns home on his shield.
🕯MYKHAILO KONONENKO (14.01.1986 – 09.02.2025) – a soldier, inspector of the border service rapid response command “Squall”. Born and lived in Stryi. He studied at local school #9, then continued his education at VPU #35 and the higher professional art school in Stryi. Mobilized in March 2024. He died in a hospital after receiving severe injuries during a combat mission in Donetsk region.
We deeply sympathize with his mother, brother, wife, and two small children who waited in vain for their Protector from the war.
