Another Hero of Ukraine has joined the Heavenly Legion — Nazariy Ivanovych Pistun, born in 1989. A soldier and rifleman of the motorized infantry unit of military division A0998, he perished on January 1 while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
“Brave, kind, always smiling, and ready to help — that is how Nazariy will be remembered by his family, comrades, and friends. He loved life deeply and sacrificed it for our peace and safety. Since 2014, he served in the ATO zone, covering almost all of Donetsk region and being present in the hottest spots. Tragically, in this war, we lose the most precious — people who love their country,” shared Irina Kharchuk, elder of Sosnivka, in her tribute.
