On May 27, 2025, in the area of the settlement of Stinky, Donetsk region, soldier Volodymyr Ivanovych Bodnarchuk, born on 12.24.1971, a resident of the village of Telyazh, was killed.
Volodymyr Ivanovych served as a chemist in the platoon of radiation, chemical, and biological protection of military unit A0998. He died during two enemy FPV-drone strikes in the area where the personnel was located.

The ceremony to meet the Hero Volodymyr Ivanovych Bodnarchuk will take place on Thursday, June 26, at 3 PM near the church of St. Apostle Peter and Paul in Sokal. The funeral procession will then head to his hometown in the village of Telyazh, where a requiem service will be held immediately.
The burial service will begin on Friday, June 27, at 1 PM.
