No sooner had Sokal district recovered from yesterday’s news of the Hero’s death than the sad news came to our community again today.
On April 19, 2024, while performing combat (special) tasks near the village of Novomykhailivka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region, soldier MITS Valentyn Volodymyrovych, born in 1974, a resident of Sokal, was killed.
He was called up for military service on October 19, 2022, served as a rifleman of the third rifle squad of the second rifle platoon of the military unit A4026. We express our sincere condolences to the entire family on the death of Valentyn Mits. May he rest in peace!
