18-year-old Maksym Vasylyshyn with the call sign “Pajero” died at the front in the battles for Ukraine, the Rozdillya newspaper reports.
Maksym Vasylyshyn studied at the Novorozdil Secondary School №5 until the 9th grade, and later at the Heroes of Kruty Military Lyceum. This year he was a first-year student at the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Information Technology, Lviv University of Trade and Economics.
From the beginning of the war he went into self-defense, and then volunteered for the front – in a separate volunteer battalion “Carpathian Sich”. At first Maxim fought in Kyiv region, later – in Donbass. He died in the Izyum direction. He was covered with hail when he went on reconnaissance.
According to the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership, Maxim always had a lot of ideas and plans, he had a great entrepreneurial flair and determination and was not afraid to try new things. During his studies he always carried a book about entrepreneurship. At the age of 17, Maxim already had several businesses of his own and dreamed of creating a real business empire. In his essays, Maxim often mentioned how he was inspired by other people and sought to lead by example.
“I want to make it clear to all Ukrainians that we can do anything if we strive for this. I want to make Ukrainians equal, ”Maksym said.
Maksym Vasylyshyn was buried today, June 21, in Lviv. at the Lychakiv cemetery.
